Chickpea Flour Wrap

⁃ 1 cup chickpea flour

⁃ 1 cup water

⁃ Salt & Pepper to season

⁃ 1 Tbsp Ghee or Coconut Oil for Frying

Optional Flavouring

⁃ 1 tsp Cumin or Cumin Seed

⁃ 1 tsp Paprika

⁃ 1/2 tsp Chili

⁃ 1/2 Turmeric

⁃ Coriander or Parsley to top

⁃ All of the above…


⁃ Add Chickpea Flour & Water to a large mixing bowl, and season with salt & pepper. Allow to rest for at least 30 mins for flour to absorb the water

⁃ When ready to cook, pre-heat a medium size pan to a below medium heat and allow oil to melt, do not let it burn or start to smoke

⁃ Add a ladleful of mix to the pan once warm, allow the mixture to spread out & cover the pan so you get a thin wrap

⁃ Once the mixture is cooked throughly and slides around the pan without sticking then turn over & cook the other side, it should take about 4 mins on the first side & 2 mins on the reverse

⁃ Put on a plate in the oven on its lowest heat to keep warm whilst you cook the rest
